Security & Compliance

Trust starts
with clear boundaries.

Careful access. Defined responsibilities. Honest communication about what works today and what is still being developed.

Compliance by Design

Licensed judgment
stays with people.

HarborReach is designed as a customer-service system and does not replace a licensed insurance agent.

These are product boundaries, not a certification or a guarantee of compliance for every deployment.

HarborReach does not

  • Produce insurance quotations
  • Bind insurance coverage
  • Recommend insurance carriers
  • Recommend, increase, reduce, or evaluate coverages
  • Recommend, increase, reduce, or evaluate deductibles
  • Provide licensed insurance advice
  • Make underwriting or eligibility decisions

The administrative role

Help within
a defined scope.

The intended service scope below depends on agency authorization and the availability of each workflow. These customer-service capabilities are being developed; this list does not describe a fully available feature set.

See current product status
  • Provide verified administrative information from authorized sources
  • Collect customer information through authorized workflows
  • Document service requests
  • Explain administrative procedures
  • Route licensed-agent matters to authorized personnel
  • Transfer conversations with relevant context
  • Track administrative follow-up

Controls in the current platform

Practical protections,
already implemented.

These controls exist in the operational application. Their presence does not establish an independent security certification.

Controlled account access

Password-protected accounts, server-enforced roles, agency-scoped access, and expiring sessions.

Protected credentials

Sensitive service credentials are kept outside public website files. Account passwords are stored as one-way hashes.

Accountability for actions

Administrative audit records and validated application actions support operational review.

Guarded sessions

Sign-in attempt limits and request verification help protect authenticated administrative activity.

Design principles

Permission before access.
Purpose before collection.

Agency authorization, least-privilege access, customer authentication, and relevant context guide the service workflows being developed.

Customer identity verification and expanded administrative workflows are not currently live. No SOC 2, HIPAA, carrier, or other independent certification is claimed on this website.
